BioNEST IASST under the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) organized an interactive Session on the "Entrepreneurial Journey of an Innovator” - An Insight on the Role of Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG)" on 8th February 2023, Wednesday from 11 am onwards.
The session was moderated by Dr. Tania Paul Das, Manager (Science & Technology) who introduced the speaker of the webinar – Dr. Milind Choudhari, CEO of Weinnovate Biologicals Pvt. Ltd., Pune.
Prof. Devasish Chowdhury, Physical Science Division, IASST rendered the inaugural speech. The session continued with the awareness talk by Dr. Milind Choudhari, who gave insights into how Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) can help an innovator in defining a problem statement, understand project financing, and how an Incubation Centre creates an impact on the success of a business. He emphasized building a business, building a solid solution that can be deployed to society, and showed the growth path process post BIG as the key to success. A total of 26 participants attended and a few innovators interacted with the speaker.
