BioNEST IASST organized an interactive session on "Lab to Market - Transforming Academic Research into Commercial Innovations in Life Science" on 21st April 2022 from 11 am onwards at the auditorium of IASST. The invited guest speaker was Dr. Vishal Bharadwaj, who is a Senior Consultant at Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), Bangalore. In his talk, he vividly described how researchers and faculty of educational and R&D Institutes can avail the facilities of C-CAMP and the funding sources available for entrepreneurs and startups. He also gave an overview of avenues of facilitating research, collaboration, commercialization of technologies and ways of nurturing bio-entrepreneurship. Almost 60 participants attended the interactive session. The seminar ended with the vote of thanks rendered by Prof. Devasish Chowdhury, PSD, IASST.
