Workshop on the occasion of World MSME Day 2023
On MSME Day, Bio-NEST IASST organized a comprehensive expert talk session on June 27, 2023. Prof. Ashis K. Mukherjee, Director of IASST, delivered an inaugural speech that underscored the significance of the day and emphasized the pivotal role of MSMEs as catalysts for economic development in the country.
The invited speakers, Mr. L.K. Parganiha, Dy Director and Head, IEDS, MSME-DFO, Guwahati, and Mr. S.S. Baruah, Asstt Director Gr-1, IEDS, MSME-DFO, Guwahati shed light on entrepreneurs' challenges.
They discussed the various schemes and initiatives the government and other organizations implemented to facilitate procurement opportunities for MSMEs, the importance of marketing strategies, and the role of digital platforms in enhancing the visibility and reach of MSME products and services.
