Launch of R&D unit and production site at BioNEST IASST
Aavya Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. has setup a Research & Development unit and production site at Bio-NEST IASST (Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology), Guwahati for developing a molecular transport medium for collection of viral samples. The uniqueness of the product is that sample is stable at room temperature for up to 7 days eradicating the hassles of cold supply chain. Aavya Life Science got funding support of Rs. 25 Lakhs from NECTAR (North East Centre for Technology Application and Reach) and has incubated their production unit at the BioNEST IASST which was inaugurated by the Guest of Honour, Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma, Director General, NECTAR, in the august presence of Prof. Ashis Kumar Mukherjee, Director, IASST along with other dignitaries on 1st July 2022, Friday.
