Event Details

On the occasion of National Science Day, IASST and BioNEST – IASST jointly organized a Startup Hackathon on February 28, 2025, in alignment with the newly introduced “Student Entrepreneurship policy of IASST”. With a motive to promote entrepreneurship among researchers, the event invited research scholars and postdoctoral researchers to present their startup ideas. Honorable Director of IASST, Prof. Ashis Kumar Mukherjee, announced initial financial support for the startup ideas presented at the hackathon. The event was graced by Prof. Pallab Kanti Haldar, Director, School of Natural Products, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University, Kolkata and Dr. Bula Choudhury, Senior Scientist, Guwahati Biotech Park and as external jury members.
