1. Purpose

This policy outlines the procedures for regularly reviewing, updating, and maintaining website content hosted on the Bionest IASST portal. The aim is to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and consistency of all published information.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all content displayed on the Bionest IASST website, including:

  • Homepage and announcements
  • News, events, and press releases
  • Project and research information
  • Team profiles and contact information
  • Publications, reports, and downloads
  • Multimedia content (photos, videos)
  • Policy documents and guidelines

3. Content Review Frequency

  • Static Information (e.g., team details, project descriptions): Reviewed bi-annually.
  • Dynamic Content (e.g., news, events): Reviewed monthly or as needed.
  • Legal and Policy Documents: Reviewed annually or upon regulatory updates.

4. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Content Owners: Responsible for creating and maintaining assigned sections of the website.
  • Web Administrator: Coordinates the review process and implements changes on the site.
  • Bionest IASST Leadership: Provides oversight and final approvals for critical content changes.

5. Review Process

  • Content owners are notified at the start of each review cycle.
  • Each section is reviewed for:
    • Accuracy and factual correctness
    • Relevance to current programs and audiences
    • Consistency in format, language, and branding
    • Broken links or outdated media
  • Proposed updates are submitted to the Web Administrator.
  • Changes are implemented on the staging site and reviewed for approval before going live.

6. Version Control and Record Keeping

All significant updates are logged with timestamps and version history. Archived versions may be retained for future reference or compliance.

7. Non-Compliance

If content is not reviewed or updated within the prescribed timeline, the Web Administrator may mark it for archival or temporarily remove it until confirmation is received.

8. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed annually to incorporate new technologies, regulatory requirements, or organizational changes.
