The Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) and BioNEST-IASST presented a webinar on ‘Industry–Academia Collaboration’ on May 3, 2025, to celebrate the 55th DST Foundation Day. Prof. Ashis K. Mukherjee, Director of IASST, stressed industry-academia ties in his welcome address. He stressed the importance of academic-industry collaboration in innovation, research translation, and social impact. The industry expert, Mr. Dilip Kumar Jha, Associate Vice President of Operations at Emami Limited, Guwahati, delivered a fascinating talk on academia-industry synergy and the product life cycle at the Webinar. The webinar witnessed active participation from research scholars and scientists.
