In celebration of International MSME Day, BioNEST-IASST organized an interactive seminar that brought together entrepreneurs and industry leaders. The seminar's keynote address was delivered by Dr. Sukamal Deb, Associate Dean at INDIC, Anant National University, Ahmedabad, and Mentor at Start-up NER, IIM Kolkata. Dr. Deb's presentation, titled "Financial Inclusion through MSMEs, Women, and Social Entrepreneurship concerning the North East region" highlighted the critical role of women in advancing social entrepreneurship.

He emphasized that empowering women through financial inclusion can drive significant social change and economic development, particularly in the North East region of India. Dr. Deb's talk covered various strategies for fostering financial inclusion, including access to funding schemes of the government, mentorship, and capacity- building initiatives.

The seminar attracted budding entrepreneurs from various sectors, who participated actively in the discussions and explored networking opportunities.
